How to Treat Breast Nodules
Today, I felt a small hard lump inside my chest area. After going to the hospital for an examination, the doctor diagnosed it as a breast nodule. I didn't know whether I had this condition before. I would like to ask whether breast nodules can be treated.

The treatment approach for breast nodules depends on the nature, size of the nodule, and the patient's symptoms. Generally, treatment methods include general management, medication, and surgical treatment.
1. General management: For benign nodules without obvious symptoms, special treatment is usually not required. It is recommended to maintain a healthy lifestyle, such as balanced nutrition, moderate exercise, and emotional stability.
2. Medication: For proliferative breast nodules caused by endocrine disorders, medications that regulate the endocrine system may be used, such as progesterone, estrogen receptor modulators, etc., to relieve symptoms and control disease progression.
3. Surgical treatment: If the nodule is large, grows rapidly, or has the potential for malignancy, timely surgical removal is required. Surgical options include traditional open surgery and minimally invasive procedures, the latter of which involves less trauma and faster recovery. Additional comprehensive treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy may be needed after surgery.
In addition, once breast abnormalities are detected, prompt medical consultation is necessary. At the same time, maintaining healthy lifestyle habits and performing regular breast self-examinations and professional checkups are recommended.
