How to manage erosive gastritis
I have been feeling nauseous all the time. This week, I experienced diarrhea for several days, accompanied by significant vomiting and general malaise. I went to the hospital and underwent a gastroscopy, which diagnosed me with erosive gastritis. So, how should erosive gastritis be managed?

Erosive gastritis is an inflammation of the gastric mucosa. The methods of management mainly include the following aspects:
1. Dietary adjustment: The diet should be light and easily digestible, with more consumption of foods rich in protein and vitamins, such as eggs, tofu, fresh vegetables, and fruits. At the same time, avoid eating spicy, irritating, greasy, and cold foods, such as chili peppers, Sichuan peppercorns, alcohol, coffee, and fatty meats, to reduce irritation to the gastric mucosa. In addition, eat smaller meals more frequently and avoid overeating at one time to reduce the burden on the stomach.
2. Lifestyle adjustment: Ensure adequate sleep and avoid staying up late or excessive fatigue. Maintain a positive mood and avoid the effects of negative emotions such as anxiety and depression. Engage in appropriate physical activity, such as walking or jogging, to promote gastrointestinal motility and secretion of digestive fluids, but avoid strenuous exercise.
3. Medication management: Under a doctor's guidance, use proton pump inhibitors to reduce gastric acid secretion; antacids to neutralize gastric acid; mucosal protectants to enhance the protective capacity of the gastric mucosa; and antibiotics when necessary.
