Discomfort in the left armpit may be caused by muscle strain or swollen lymph nodes. Muscle strain usually results from overexertion, sudden forceful movements, or improper posture, leading to damage of the armpit muscle fibers and causing pain and discomfort. Swollen lymph nodes may be triggered by infections, inflammation, tumors, or other factors. In addition to armpit discomfort, symptoms may include fever and fatigue.

Avoid excessive activity and exertion, and observe whether symptoms improve. You can try applying heat to the armpit area for 15–20 minutes, 2–3 times daily, which can help improve blood circulation and relieve discomfort. If symptoms persist or are accompanied by other abnormalities such as redness, swelling, noticeable lumps, or fever, it is recommended to seek medical attention promptly.
