What causes muscle and bone aches?
I have been experiencing frequent aches in my muscles and joints recently, especially after physical activity or during weather changes, when the pain becomes more noticeable. At times, I also feel muscle stiffness and restricted movement. What could be causing this?

Myofascial and skeletal pain is a common symptom that can be caused by various factors.
1. Muscle or bone injuries: Overuse of muscles, improper exercise posture, sudden strains or sprains, and direct trauma such as fractures are common causes of myofascial and skeletal pain.
2. Joint diseases: Conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and other joint disorders can cause pain in the muscles and bones surrounding the joints.
3. Neuropathy: Nerve compression or damage, such as sciatica and cervical spondylosis, can also cause pain and soreness in the corresponding areas.
4. Metabolic diseases: For example, gout caused by deposition of urate crystals in the joints leads to acute inflammatory reactions and severe joint pain; or peripheral neuropathy caused by diabetes, resulting in limb numbness and pain.
5. Trauma and overuse: These can cause local tissue damage, and if the injury does not fully heal, persistent myofascial and skeletal pain may develop.
6. Inflammatory responses: Invasion of cold-damp pathogens may lead to inflammatory reactions in muscles and joints, causing myofascial soreness and pain.
