Microblading is a cosmetic procedure that uses an instrument to implant pigments into the superficial layer of the skin, aiming to enhance the appearance of fuller eyebrows. After microblading, there will be minor wounds in the eyebrow area, which require a certain amount of time to heal. During the recovery period, it is important to keep the wounds dry and clean to avoid infections and other complications.

In general, around ten days after the microblading procedure, the wounds may have mostly healed, but they still require careful handling.

Although the wounds may have scabbed or nearly healed, applying a warm, wet towel directly may still increase the risk of infection, as the wet towel may carry bacteria or microorganisms. Therefore, during the recovery period after microblading, it is recommended to keep the eyebrow area as dry as possible and avoid direct contact with moisture.

If cleaning of the eyebrow area is necessary, you may wipe gently with normal saline or medical alcohol, as these solutions have antibacterial properties that can reduce the risk of infection. During the cleaning process, gently press rather than rub to avoid exerting additional pressure on the healing skin. When drying, do so gently to avoid friction.

During the recovery period, regularly monitor the healing progress of the microbladed area and watch for symptoms such as redness, swelling, or pain. If any discomfort or abnormalities occur, seek medical attention promptly.

If you have any questions or discomfort during the recovery period after microblading, please consult a professional physician for advice.
