Intermittent red streaks have appeared on the inner thigh, some of which have turned purplish. This symptom may be related to various skin and health conditions. Such red streaks could be striae distensae (commonly known as stretch marks) or obesity-related skin changes, typically caused by rapid weight gain or quick growth, leading to rupture of the skin's elastic fibers. If the patient is female, the possibility of pregnancy-related stretch marks should also be considered, especially during pregnancy or the postpartum period. Additionally, endocrine disorders such as Cushing's syndrome may also cause similar purplish-red streaks on the skin.

Patients are advised to seek medical attention promptly to confirm a diagnosis through ultrasound, blood tests, and other examinations. During treatment, patients should avoid strenuous exercise, ensure adequate rest, and maintain good personal hygiene to prevent infection. If emergency symptoms such as fever, severe pain, or difficulty breathing occur, immediate medical care should be sought.
