After undergoing prosthetic rhinoplasty, if symptoms such as redness, swelling, pain, or fever occur, the possibility of infection should be considered. Complete blood count (CBC) is one of the commonly used clinical tests, which can assess whether an inflammatory response exists in the body by measuring indicators such as white blood cell count and neutrophil percentage. When an infection occurs in the body, the CBC typically shows an elevated white blood cell count, especially an increased percentage of neutrophils, indicating that the body is mounting an immune response against the infection. Therefore, CBC testing has certain reference value in diagnosing inflammation.

If inflammation is diagnosed, anti-infective treatment should be conducted under a doctor's guidance, including administration of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, and attention to daily nasal care to prevent worsening of the infection. At the same time, patients should maintain healthy dietary habits and avoid consuming spicy or irritating foods to promote resolution of inflammation and wound healing.
