What should not be eaten with silver fish?
Silver fish is a general term for a type of slender, translucent fish. I enjoy eating silver fish very much, but I believe there are certain taboos associated with it. I would like to know, what foods should not be consumed together with silver fish?

Silver fish contains certain specific components, so attention should be paid when combining it with other foods.
1. Foods containing tannic acid: Silver fish should not be consumed with tannin-rich foods such as persimmons and tea. Tannic acid can combine with proteins in silver fish to form precipitates that are difficult to digest and absorb, potentially causing gastrointestinal discomfort in severe cases.
2. Cold-natured foods: Silver fish itself has a sweet and neutral nature. When consumed in large quantities with cold-natured foods such as watermelon and bitter melon, it may increase internal coldness, which is particularly detrimental to individuals with spleen and stomach deficiency-cold, and may easily lead to diarrhea or indigestion.
3. High-oxalate foods: Silver fish is rich in calcium. High-oxalate foods can combine with calcium to form insoluble calcium oxalate, which not only affects calcium absorption but may also increase the risk of kidney stones.
4. Other foods: Silver fish also should be avoided when consuming certain alkaline foods, tomatoes, tofu, and similar items. These foods may interfere with calcium absorption from silver fish or cause adverse reactions with some of its components.
At the same time, moderate consumption of silver fish and appropriate pairing with other ingredients can better utilize its nutritional value.
