Silicone implant removal surgery is relatively safe, but it does carry certain risks and potential complications. Common postoperative complications include hematoma, breast ptosis, bruising, infection, pain, and abnormal breast shape. Additionally, if the implant leaks, silicone may infiltrate surrounding tissues and must be thoroughly removed; otherwise, it could lead to chronic inflammatory reactions.

Patients are advised to choose an experienced surgeon to minimize surgical risks. After surgery, it is important to strictly follow medical instructions for postoperative care, including maintaining wound cleanliness and avoiding strenuous activities. If any abnormal symptoms occur, such as persistent fever, severe pain, or significant swelling, prompt medical attention should be sought.
