I recently had breast augmentation surgery with implants and am currently in the recovery phase. I heard that there are many dietary considerations to keep in mind, as improper diet may affect the recovery outcome. I would like to know what foods should be avoided after breast implant surgery.

Prohibited foods after breast augmentation surgery include the following:

1. Avoid eating spicy and irritating foods, such as chili peppers, pepper, onions, ginger, garlic, etc., as these foods may easily cause inflammatory responses in the body, which are not conducive to wound healing.

2. Seafood, such as shrimp, crab, fish, etc., may easily cause allergic reactions, possibly leading to itching, swelling, and redness at the surgical site, and may even affect the stability of the implant.

3. Alcohol and tobacco must be strictly avoided as they can interfere with blood circulation, delay the healing process, and may lead to complications.

4. High-fat and fried foods, such as fried dough sticks (youtiao), fried chicken, French fries, cream cakes, etc., contain high levels of oil and fat. Excessive intake increases the body's burden, affects metabolism, and is not conducive to wound repair and reduction of swelling.
