Dr. Chen Lu

After undergoing eyebrow embroidery, the skin will experience a certain degree of trauma and requires time to heal. During this healing period, consumption of spicy foods should be avoided until the skin has fully recovered.

Following eyebrow embroidery, minor wounds will be present on the local skin area. Spicy foods are irritating and may increase skin sensitivity, causing swelling and pain, and even affecting wound healing and leading to scar formation. Therefore, special attention should be given to dietary management after the procedure. Initially, avoid consuming spicy foods such as chili peppers, Sichuan peppercorns, and black pepper, as well as spicy dishes like hot pot and grilled or barbecued foods, to prevent interference with the healing process.

It is recommended to avoid spicy foods for at least two weeks and wait until the local skin has completely healed before reintroducing them. During the recovery period, maintain a light diet and consume more fresh fruits and vegetables, such as apples, bananas, and spinach, to supply essential vitamins that promote wound healing and overall health.

In addition to dietary considerations, proper wound care is essential. Keep the embroided eyebrow area clean and dry, avoid contact with water, and refrain from touching or rubbing the area to prevent infection.
