Influenza A refers to influenza type A, which is an acute respiratory infectious disease caused by the influenza A virus. The main symptoms of influenza A include fever, fatigue and exhaustion, muscle and joint pain, cough, sore throat, nasal congestion, and others.

1. Fever: Patients with influenza A typically develop acute fever, with body temperature rapidly rising above 38℃, even exceeding 40℃. Fever may be accompanied by chills or shivering.

2. Fatigue and exhaustion: Patients often feel extremely tired and weak, with reduced activity capacity, which is difficult to relieve even after resting.

3. Muscle and joint pain: This is a typical symptom of influenza A. The virus may cause a systemic inflammatory response, leading to pain in muscles and joints.

4. Cough: Patients often experience coughing, which can be either dry or productive (with phlegm), and the cough may worsen as the illness progresses.

5. Sore throat: The virus may irritate the mucous membranes of the throat, causing throat pain or discomfort.

6. Nasal congestion: The mucous membranes in the nasal cavity may become congested and swollen after viral irritation, leading to symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, and sneezing.

To prevent influenza A, it is recommended to wash hands frequently with soap and running water, or use alcohol-based hand sanitizers; avoid contact with individuals exhibiting flu-like symptoms; and wear masks in public places.
