The treatment of dental diseases mainly depends on their type and severity. Early-stage caries can be treated with fillings, which involves removing the decayed portion and filling the cavity with appropriate material. If the caries has reached the dental pulp, root canal treatment may be required. Root canal treatment includes removing the pulp tissue within the pulp chamber, preparing the root canals, and filling the root canals. The entire treatment process may require 2 to 4 visits, each lasting approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
For periodontal disease, mild cases can be treated with non-surgical treatments such as scaling and root planing, while severe cases may require surgical treatments such as flap surgery or bone grafting. For crown defects or tooth defects, inlay restoration or prosthetic restoration can be performed. Depending on the type of restoration and materials used, the cost may range from several hundred to several thousand yuan.
Other treatment methods include orthodontic braces for correcting misaligned teeth or malocclusion. Teeth that cannot be saved, such as those with severe decay or loose teeth caused by periodontal disease, can be extracted.
