Chronic cervicitis can be managed through general treatment, physical therapy, and medication.

Maintaining good personal hygiene, avoiding excessive or unprotected sexual activity, quitting smoking, limiting alcohol consumption, and enhancing physical resistance are important. Physical therapies, such as laser treatment or cryotherapy, work by cauterizing or inducing necrosis and shedding of the affected tissue, thereby promoting local tissue recovery.

For patients with mild symptoms, local medication such as Kangfu Gel, Baofukang Suppository, or Ximian Suppository may be selected; these medications have anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. When topical treatments are insufficient, oral medications such as Huahong Tablets, Fuke Qianjin Tablets, or Kanggongyan Tablets may be added to assist in reducing inflammation and decreasing the risk of recurrence.

The causes of chronic cervicitis may include pathogen infection, bacterial infection, frequent sexual activity, exposure to chemical substances, decreased immunity, and other factors. Regardless of the chosen treatment method, it should always be performed under the guidance of a qualified physician. Strengthening health education and improving self-care awareness can help prevent chronic cervicitis.
