Can urticaria patients be exposed to natural wind?
I have developed hives, with many welts appearing on my body, and the itching is very uncomfortable. The weather is quite pleasant today, and I feel like going outside to get some fresh air. Considering my current condition, is it okay for me to be exposed to natural wind?

In general, patients with urticaria can be exposed to natural wind.
As a common skin allergic reaction, urticaria is primarily triggered by foods, medications, allergens in the environment, or infections. Natural wind itself does not contain these common allergens and therefore usually does not directly trigger or worsen symptoms of urticaria.
Although natural wind itself does not directly cause urticaria, wind that is excessively cold or hot may irritate the skin and exacerbate existing urticaria symptoms. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid prolonged outdoor exposure in extremely cold or hot weather to prevent skin irritation and worsening of urticaria symptoms. When going outdoors, dress appropriately and avoid direct exposure of the skin to wind. Especially in cold weather, wear warm clothing to protect skin areas that are prone to irritation.
In daily life, patients with urticaria are advised to pay attention to personal protection, avoid possible irritants and allergens, and maintain healthy lifestyle habits, which can help control the condition and improve quality of life.
