In general, after undergoing rhinoplasty with implants, one should avoid strenuous activities, properly care for the wound, maintain a balanced diet, protect the nose, and follow the physician's instructions regarding medication.

For the first week after surgery, any form of strenuous exercise, including running and fitness training, should be avoided to reduce pressure and vibration to the nose. The wound area must be kept clean and dry, and contact with water is prohibited. Daily cleaning with a cotton swab dipped in saline or hydrogen peroxide can be used to gently wipe away secretions from the wound, followed by applying a thin layer of erythromycin ophthalmic ointment or fusidic acid cream (such as Fucidin) to prevent infection. Touching the wound with hands should also be avoided to prevent infection.

After surgery, patients should regulate their diet, avoiding spicy and irritating foods, seafood, smoking, and alcohol consumption. These foods and habits may irritate the wound and affect healing. It is recommended to eat more fruits and vegetables to maintain nutritional balance, which aids in wound recovery. Wearing glasses should be avoided during the recovery period; if necessary, special nose pads can be used to reduce pressure. When going outdoors, wear a hat or sunglasses to prevent direct sunlight exposure. Patients should follow medical advice to take oral or injectable antibiotics for 3 to 5 days post-surgery to prevent infection. If necessary, dressings should be changed regularly to ensure the wound remains clean and dry.

Post-operative care after rhinoplasty with implants is a meticulous process requiring close cooperation with the physician's guidance. With careful care and appropriate rest, the risk of complications can be significantly reduced, promoting faster and better recovery.
