In general, laser eyebrow removal may cause mild to moderate pain, though the level of discomfort varies from person to person. The sensation of pain mainly comes from the laser's stimulation of the skin's surface layer. Due to the precision and specificity of the laser, it primarily targets pigment particles, causing minimal damage to surrounding healthy tissues.

Different laser devices have varying parameters such as wavelength and pulse duration, which affect the depth of skin penetration and thermal effects. Typically, Q-switched lasers and picosecond lasers are commonly used types that can accurately deliver energy to targeted pigment particles, minimizing damage to surrounding tissues. Excessively high energy settings may increase pain. Prior to treatment, a topical anesthetic is usually applied to the treatment area to reduce pain and discomfort. After applying the anesthetic, most patients experience only mild pricking or burning sensations during the procedure.

When choosing laser eyebrow removal, it is recommended to select an experienced, qualified physician to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the procedure. After laser eyebrow removal, one should avoid direct sunlight and ultraviolet exposure to prevent pigment deposition.
