Can pigmentation spots reappear after laser treatment?
I am 29 years old this year, and it seems that there are some small spots appearing on both sides of my face. I would like to know whether these spots treated with laser will grow back?

In general, after laser pigmentation removal, there is a possibility that the pigmentation may reoccur, although this varies from person to person and depends on multiple factors.
Laser treatment primarily removes existing pigmentation. However, if the underlying factors causing the pigmentation—such as hormonal imbalances, ultraviolet (UV) exposure, or genetic predispositions—are not fundamentally addressed, pigmentation may recur. After laser treatment, the skin tends to be more sensitive and requires special care. Failure to properly protect against UV rays, maintain hydration, and keep the skin clean may lead to external stimuli—such as sun exposure, dryness, or infection—triggering melanocytes to become active again, resulting in the reappearance of pigmentation.
Individual differences in skin characteristics and metabolic capacity exist. Some individuals may inherently be more prone to pigmentation issues, and even after laser treatment, the likelihood of recurrence remains relatively high. It is recommended to choose a reputable medical facility and have the procedure performed by a qualified physician to ensure safety and effectiveness. After laser pigmentation removal, it is important to strictly follow the physician's post-treatment care instructions, including sun protection, moisturizing, and avoiding infection.
