In general, infants with diarrhea can still drink formula milk. Short-term diarrhea usually does not cause problems from drinking formula. However, if the diarrhea persists for a long time, it may be due to lactose intolerance, and a special formula may be required. If an infant's diarrhea is caused by bacterial infection, oral administration of amoxicillin granules may be used for treatment, but it is recommended to follow medical advice from a doctor.
