In case of fever caused by tonsillitis, it is important to ensure adequate rest and sufficient fluid intake to help the body fight against the virus.

If the patient's body temperature does not exceed 38.5°C, physical cooling methods are recommended as the first option, such as applying fever patches, and wiping the armpits, palms, and soles with lukewarm water to remove some internal heat and alleviate fever symptoms.

When the temperature rises above 38.5°C, antipyretic medications such as ibuprofen capsules or acetaminophen tablets may be used under a doctor's guidance to provide fever-reducing and pain-relieving effects. Additionally, for tonsillitis itself, antibiotics such as penicillin may be administered for anti-inflammatory treatment. If the condition is severe, especially cases of tonsillitis fever caused by bacterial infection, intravenous infusion may be required for treatment.

Oral hygiene should not be overlooked; gargling with warm saline solution can help relieve throat pain. If symptoms are severe, such as persistent high fever or difficulty swallowing, prompt medical attention is necessary, which may involve further examinations or treatment. For prevention, enhancing immunity, avoiding contact with infected individuals, and maintaining good personal hygiene habits can reduce the risk of developing the condition.
