Constipation accompanied by bloating and blood in the stool may indicate various diseases.

Functional dyspepsia can lead to weakened gastrointestinal motility, food retention, and gas accumulation, causing bloating and constipation. Additionally, gastric conditions such as chronic superficial gastritis might trigger similar symptoms due to impaired digestive function. Furthermore, intestinal issues like colon polyps or ulcerative colitis may involve bleeding and affect bowel function.

Long-standing constipation can increase pressure within the intestines, leading to bloating and discomfort. Blood in the stool should raise concern for possible intestinal inflammation, hemorrhoids, polyps, or tumors. Among these, hemorrhoids are a common cause, presenting as bright red blood in the stool, whereas intestinal inflammation or tumors may result in dark red or black stools.

If you experience any of these symptoms, it is advisable to seek medical attention promptly and follow the doctor's instructions for treatment. Adjusting your diet to include more fiber, drinking plenty of water, and maintaining regular bowel habits can help alleviate constipation and prevent complications.

During diagnosis and treatment, follow your doctor's professional guidance and do not take medications blindly.
