Introduction
In general, there are many possible causes of lower abdominal pain during pregnancy, such as threatened miscarriage, pelvic inflammatory disease, or medical and surgical conditions. It is recommended to seek treatment under a doctor's guidance through lifestyle adjustments and medication. Pay attention to personal hygiene in daily life, keep the genital area dry and clean, and avoid infections. It is advisable to first go to the hospital for appropriate evaluation and treatment.

There are usually many reasons that can cause pain below the lower abdomen in pregnant women, such as threatened miscarriage, pelvic inflammatory disease, and internal or surgical conditions.

1. Threatened Miscarriage

After pregnancy, abnormal levels of estrogen and progesterone in a pregnant woman's body, combined with prolonged stress or emotional tension, may lead to abnormal uterine contractions, resulting in a threatened miscarriage. In such cases, the gestational sac may partially detach from the uterine lining, causing vaginal bleeding and lower abdominal pain during pregnancy. Pregnant women should immediately go to the hospital and follow medical advice for fetal preservation treatment.

2. Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID)

If a pregnant woman has pelvic inflammatory disease, it may cause pain below the lower abdomen. PID can also lead to blocked or partially blocked fallopian tubes. Treatment typically follows medical guidance and may include medications such as metronidazole tablets or ornidazole capsules.

3. Internal or Surgical Conditions

Pain below the lower abdomen might also result from underlying medical conditions such as gastroenteritis or appendicitis in the pregnant woman. It is recommended that, upon experiencing such symptoms, the patient first visit a hospital for examination to identify the cause before receiving appropriate treatment.
