Introduction
Fever usually refers to an elevated body temperature. Taking contraceptive pills may cause fever. Contraceptive pills typically contain certain hormonal components, which, after ingestion, may lead to abnormal hormone levels in the body and affect the thermoregulatory center, resulting in an increase in basal body temperature and presenting as fever. At the same time, they may also cause other abnormalities such as nausea, vomiting, menstrual disorders, general fatigue, and decreased appetite.

Fever usually refers to an elevated body temperature. Taking contraceptive pills may increase basal body temperature, potentially leading to fever.

Contraceptive pills typically contain certain hormonal components, which, after ingestion, may cause abnormal hormone levels in the body and affect the thermoregulatory center, resulting in an elevated basal body temperature and presenting as fever. This may also be accompanied by other abnormalities such as nausea, vomiting, menstrual disorders, general weakness, and decreased appetite. However, the fever caused in this situation is generally not very high.

If fever occurs after taking contraceptive pills, physical cooling methods can usually help reduce body temperature. If associated discomfort symptoms are significant, it's advisable to undergo relevant medical examinations under a doctor’s guidance and actively address the underlying cause.
