Introduction
In general, discomfort in the back of the neck accompanied by dizziness may be caused by physical fatigue, neck muscle tension or spasms, high blood pressure, migraines, cervical disc herniation, or other conditions. High life stress, prolonged熬夜 (staying up late), and poor sleep often leave the body in a state of fatigue, leading to symptoms such as dizziness and neck discomfort upon waking.

Dizziness and discomfort in the back of the neck are usually caused by physical fatigue, neck muscle tension or spasms, hypertension, migraines, cervical disc herniation, and other reasons. These conditions can be treated through lifestyle adjustments or medication. Specific analyses are as follows:

1. Physical fatigue: High life stress, prolonged熬夜 (staying up late), and poor sleep often leave the body in a state of exhaustion, leading to symptoms such as dizziness and discomfort in the back of the neck upon waking. Oral medications are generally not required; developing healthy daily habits can effectively relieve these symptoms.

2. Neck muscle tension and spasms: Prolonged poor posture, excessive use of electronic devices, and mental stress may lead to neck muscle tension and spasms, thereby causing discomfort in the back of the neck and dizziness. It is recommended to maintain proper sitting and standing posture.

3. Hypertension: Hypertension is usually caused by long-term smoking, alcohol consumption, genetic factors, etc., and commonly leads to symptoms such as headache, dizziness, and discomfort in the back of the neck. Treatment requires oral medications such as hydrochlorothiazide tablets or indapamide tablets under medical supervision.

4. Migraine: Migraine is a type of neurological headache, often accompanied by head discomfort and vertigo. Sometimes, migraine symptoms may begin as neck pain or tightness and then spread to the head.

5. Cervical disc herniation: Cervical disc herniation often causes insufficient blood supply to the brain, resulting in symptoms such as headache and dizziness. In severe cases, it can also cause discomfort in the back of the neck. Treatment requires oral medications such as ibuprofen sustained-release capsules or celecoxib capsules under medical guidance.

If the above symptoms persist or worsen, immediate medical attention is recommended.
