Introduction
Tanned skin can be lightened using methods such as applying cosmetics, hyaluronic acid injections, or chemical peels. If the UV exposure was brief or the tanning is not severe, repair and whitening skincare products may be suitable. However, if the UV exposure was prolonged or the tanning is severe, it is recommended to improve the skin condition through hyaluronic acid injections or chemical peels.

Darkened skin can be lightened through methods such as applying cosmetics, receiving hyaluronic acid injections, or undergoing chemical peels. The details are as follows:

1. Applying Cosmetics

If the duration of UV exposure was short or the degree of tanning is not severe, individuals may choose repair and whitening skincare products based on their skin type. Regular application can help the skin gradually recover.

2. Hyaluronic Acid Injections

If the UV exposure was prolonged or the skin has significantly darkened, hyaluronic acid injections may be considered. This treatment uses a "hyaluronic acid injector" to deliver cosmetic ingredients into the dermis just beneath the epidermis. It provides hydration, moisturization, and skin brightening effects, helping improve dullness and rough texture.

3. Chemical Peels

This method involves applying high-concentration fruit acids (alpha hydroxy acids) to the skin surface. The strong acid induces controlled exfoliation of the skin's keratin layer, accelerating the shedding of dead skin cells and promoting the growth of new epidermal tissue. It effectively improves skin dullness, acne marks, and pigmentation spots.

In addition to the above methods, treatments such as photorejuvenation (IPL) are also available. However, it is not recommended to undergo these procedures at private beauty salons or personal studios. Instead, it is advisable to visit a local public hospital where doctors typically have more clinical experience.
