Introduction
Consuming excessive durian may reduce the intake of other foods, leading to nutritional imbalances and deficiencies in nutrients such as B-complex vitamins and vitamin C. This can affect the normal metabolism and repair of oral mucosa, potentially causing mouth ulcers. It is recommended to maintain a balanced diet, reduce durian consumption, and eat more foods rich in various vitamins and minerals, such as fresh vegetables, fruits, and whole grains, to ensure adequate and balanced nutrition.

Durian-induced oral ulcers may be caused by nutritional imbalance, allergic reactions, indigestion, recurrent aphthous ulcers, or herpetic stomatitis, and management should be based on the specific condition. If discomfort symptoms occur, it is recommended to seek medical attention promptly and follow medical advice for treatment.

1. Nutritional Imbalance: Excessive consumption of durian can reduce the intake of other foods, leading to nutritional imbalance and deficiencies in nutrients such as B vitamins and vitamin C. This can affect the normal metabolism and repair of oral mucosa, causing oral ulcers. It is recommended to maintain a balanced diet, reduce durian consumption, and eat more foods rich in various vitamins and minerals, such as fresh vegetables, fruits, and whole grains, to ensure balanced nutrition.

2. Allergic Reaction: Some individuals are allergic to components in durian. After consumption, the immune system releases substances such as histamine, which can irritate the oral mucosa, cause inflammation, and lead to oral ulcers, often accompanied by symptoms such as oral itching and rashes. The solution is to stop eating durian immediately and rinse the mouth multiple times with water to remove residual allergens.

3. Indigestion: Due to its high fat and high fiber characteristics, durian may cause indigestion and gastrointestinal discomfort, such as acid reflux, especially in individuals with poor digestive function. These issues may affect the oral mucosa through neural reflex mechanisms, triggering or worsening oral ulcers. It is recommended to reduce durian consumption, avoid eating on an empty stomach, and engage in light physical activity after meals to aid digestion.

4. Recurrent Aphthous Ulcer: The exact cause of this condition is unclear but may be related to genetic, immune, and psychological stress factors. It may manifest as recurrent round or oval ulcers on the oral mucosa, accompanied by significant pain. Consumption of durian, which has a "heaty" nature, may trigger ulcer outbreaks or exacerbate symptoms. Patients may use medications such as Bingbor powder, oral ulcer powder, or Kangfuxin liquid under a doctor's guidance to promote ulcer healing and relieve pain.

5. Herpetic Stomatitis: This condition is usually caused by infection with the herpes simplex virus. The virus proliferates extensively in the oral mucosa, potentially causing clusters of small blisters on the mucosa, which rupture to form ulcers, accompanied by pain and fever. Eating durian may lower the body's resistance, promoting viral activity. It is recommended to follow medical advice and use medications such as acyclovir tablets, penciclovir cream, or vitamin C tablets to aid recovery.

In daily life, it is important to develop good living habits, ensure adequate sleep, avoid staying up late, and maintain a cheerful mood, avoiding negative emotions such as anxiety and irritability, which are beneficial to overall health.
