Introduction
Gastric cancer prevention includes modifying dietary patterns and eliminating unhealthy eating habits—such as binge eating and irregular meal timing. Limit consumption of strong alcoholic beverages and avoid smoking. Actively treat gastric ulcers and chronic gastritis, and eradicate *Helicobacter pylori* infection. Conduct population-based gastric cancer screening in high-incidence regions and among high-risk individuals. First-degree relatives of gastric cancer patients face a significantly elevated risk of developing gastric cancer and should undergo early gastroscopy and serum gastrin level testing.
