Left adrenal nodule: The primary concern is whether it is hormonally functional. If the left adrenal nodule is asymptomatic and measures less than 1 cm in diameter, observation with regular follow-up is recommended. Follow-up imaging—such as adrenal color Doppler ultrasound or thin-section CT—should be performed every six months. Concurrently, hormonal assays—including aldosterone, cortisol, and catecholamines—must be conducted. If hormonal abnormalities are confirmed, targeted therapy should be selected based on the specific hormone involved. Rapid nodule growth may warrant surgical resection.
