Shingles can occur on the feet. This condition may affect various areas of the skin—not only the legs but also the arms, face, and genitalia. The hallmark symptoms of shingles include skin blistering, pruritus (itching), worsening of the condition leading to skin irritation, a burning sensation, and even neuralgia. If shingles is merely suspected at this stage, patients are advised to seek medical evaluation at a hospital as soon as possible and receive appropriate, symptom-directed treatment.
