Long-term masturbation is unlikely to cause cervical cancer. Cervical cancer refers specifically to the development of malignant cells in cervical tissue; this condition is primarily associated with human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and may also be linked to unhealthy sexual practices, such as having multiple sexual partners. Prolonged masturbation may potentially lead to kidney deficiency and could adversely affect normal fertility. However, there is no direct causal relationship between long-term masturbation and cervical cancer—these two conditions must be clearly distinguished.
