Pain in the middle finger joint can typically be managed with medication; however, it is essential to first identify the underlying cause and then administer targeted treatment. If the pain is caused by rheumatoid arthritis, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may effectively alleviate associated joint and muscle pain. In cases where elevated uric acid levels have led to gout, uric acid–lowering medications are required. Additionally, individuals with gout should adjust their dietary habits—opting for balanced meals throughout the day—and avoid fatty and high-sugar foods.
