What causes pain below the right scapula (shoulder blade) on the back?
Disease description:
Recently, I’ve experienced pain below my right scapula (shoulder blade). The pain is so severe at times that it’s nearly unbearable. What could be causing this pain below the right scapula?
Pain beneath the right scapula may result from cervical spondylosis or intercostal neuralgia, or it may be caused by muscle injury of the right scapula or periarthritis of the shoulder. Additionally, it could stem from an aseptic inflammatory response in the muscles and veins following muscular strain. If pain beneath the right scapula persists without improvement, it is advisable to seek standardized medical treatment under a physician’s guidance.
