It is normal to have split urine stream after phimosis surgery. Urine splitting following the surgery may last for a prolonged period and usually requires anti-swelling medication to alleviate urethral swelling. Otherwise, urethral adhesion may easily occur. Patients are advised to drink plenty of water, keep the penis erect, rest adequately, minimize physical activity, and change dressings regularly.
