What tea can be consumed with chronic gastritis?
Disease description:
Recently, after eating, I always feel discomfort in my stomach, accompanied by acid reflux. After a hospital checkup, I learned it was caused by chronic gastritis. What kind of tea can someone with chronic gastritis drink?
Chronic gastritis patients can generally drink barley tea, jasmine tea, and Pu-erh tea. These teas are warm in nature and help protect the gastric mucosa. Drinking them usually does not worsen symptoms of chronic gastritis. However, during flare-ups, it is not advisable to drink strong tea. Additionally, diet should be light, avoiding spicy, stimulating, and greasy foods.
