A man ejaculating during sleep at night is generally caused by nocturnal emission. This phenomenon is a normal physiological response. Males usually experience nocturnal emissions around the age of 13, which signals the gradual maturation of the sex glands. Having 1-2 episodes per month is typically not problematic. However, nocturnal emissions may also be a pathological symptom, such as in cases of prostatitis, seminal vesiculitis, or urethritis. Additionally, wearing tight underwear may also lead to nocturnal emissions.
