Patients infected with HPV16 may experience vaginal itching in the early stages of the disease, which can irritate the vaginal or uterine mucosa and lead to increased secretions. If not treated promptly, as the condition progresses, it may result in abnormal vaginal discharge accompanied by a foul odor.
