What are the symptoms after intracranial hemorrhage in hemophilia?
Disease description:
My mother has hemophilia. I've heard that intracranial hemorrhage in hemophilia patients is very dangerous. What symptoms occur after a brain bleed in someone with hemophilia?
The symptoms of intracranial hemorrhage in hemophilia primarily include nausea and vomiting, severe headache, changes in blood pressure, elevated intracranial pressure, unstable breathing, and rapid heartbeat. Severe cases may lead to syncope, loss of consciousness, or seizures. Hemophilia can cause bleeding in multiple sites; joint bleeding results in swelling and impaired mobility. Additionally, mucosal bleeding and muscle bleeding may occur.
