What are the symptoms of gastric polyps?

The manifestations of gastric polyps mainly include mild epigastric pain, abdominal distension, nausea, vomiting, acid reflux, and indigestion. Some patients may also experience heartburn, gastrointestinal bleeding, dyspnea, anemia, melena, and pyloric obstruction. If the polyp surface is accompanied by erosion or ulceration, it may further lead to hematemesis or melena. In addition, pedunculated polyps located in the pyloric region may cause pyloric obstruction, while polyps near the cardia can lead to dysphagia.
