Hepatitis B vaccine is an effective means of preventing hepatitis B. The following points should be noted during vaccination:

1. Target population: Newborns should receive the first dose within 24 hours after birth. Children and adults who have not been vaccinated should also receive the vaccine as early as possible. High-risk groups, such as healthcare workers, individuals frequently exposed to blood, and partners of hepatitis B patients, should also be vaccinated.

2. Contraindications: Individuals allergic to vaccine components should not receive the vaccine. Vaccination should be postponed during acute illness or fever. Patients with severe immunodeficiency disorders should consult a physician before vaccination.

3. Side effects: The vaccine is generally well tolerated. Mild local pain or swelling may occur at the injection site, and a small number of individuals may experience mild fever. These reactions are usually temporary and require no special treatment.

If any adverse symptoms occur after vaccination, prompt medical attention is recommended.
