Risks and Side Effects of Eyebrow Tattooing
Disease description:
My own eyebrows are quite sparse, so I want to get eyebrow embroidery. However, my friends are advising me not to do it. I would like to ask the doctor, what are the potential harms or risks associated with eyebrow embroidery?
Microblading also has some potential disadvantages and risks:
1. Mild injury: Microblading uses metallic or purely plant-based pigments, which are implanted into the dermis through laser puncturing to achieve localized shaping and make the eyebrows appear fuller. Therefore, the procedure may cause skin damage, resulting in local redness, swelling, or pain.
2. Infection: Improper hygiene practices or getting the treated area wet too soon after microblading may lead to irritation, poor healing, or wound infection.
3. Scarring: If the skin trauma is significant or if the individual has a scar-prone constitution, scarring may easily occur after skin injury.
4. Allergic reaction: Some individuals may be allergic to certain pigment ingredients used in microblading, causing redness, itching, or swelling of the skin.
5. Pigment discoloration: The pigment may change color over time, causing the eyebrows to appear unnatural, sometimes turning bluish-gray.
6. Unsatisfactory shape: The shape of the microbladed eyebrows may not fully meet personal aesthetic expectations. Once completed, modifying or removing the shape can be difficult.
7. Eye injury: Improper technique may damage the delicate skin around the eyes or even the eyes themselves.
