During pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, pregnant women may experience various physical changes and discomforts, including abdominal cramps or pain. Abdominal cramping accompanied by mild pain at 35 weeks of pregnancy may be caused by the following conditions:

1. False labor contractions (Braxton Hicks contractions): At 35 weeks of pregnancy, which is in the late stage of pregnancy, the fetal head may gradually descend into the pelvis, causing false labor contractions. These contractions are a common cause of cramp-like abdominal pain. This type of pain is generally considered normal and does not require special treatment. Pregnant women only need to undergo regular prenatal checkups.

2. Fetal movement: At this stage, fetal activity may cause abdominal discomfort or pain, especially when the fetus kicks or presses against a sensitive areas.

3. Calcium deficiency: If the mother lacks calcium during pregnancy, it may lead to increased fetal nerve excitability, which can cause cramp-like abdominal pain. In such cases, pregnant women can appropriately supplement calcium under a doctor's guidance, such as with calcium gluconate tablets or calcium gluconate oral solution.

4. Ligament stretching: As the uterus enlarges, the ligaments supporting it become stretched, which may cause cramping or pain around the abdomen.
