Why Does Straightening Up After Prolonged Bending Cause Lower Back Pain?
Disease description:
Recently, I’ve been feeling unwell—my lower back hurts whenever I try to straighten up after bending over. Could you please explain why the lower back hurts when standing up after prolonged bending?
Lower back pain may result from lumbar muscle strain or lumbar disc herniation. It is essential to avoid prolonged sitting, staying up late, overexertion, and heavy lifting. A lumbar CT scan should be performed to assess whether the intervertebral discs are normal. Symptomatic treatment with oral blood-activating and analgesic medications can help alleviate symptoms. Additionally, avoid consuming excessively cold or spicy/irritating foods in daily life.
