Introduction
The worsening of rhinitis on rainy, overcast days may be due to unfavorable environmental factors, or caused by allergies, infections, and other reasons. During rainy, overcast weather, temperatures tend to drop; regardless of whether it is summer or winter, individuals with rhinitis may experience nasal mucosal bleeding or swelling, which can trigger a worsening of their condition.

Nasal allergies may worsen during rainy and overcast weather due to adverse environmental factors, or possibly due to allergies, infections, and other causes.

1. Adverse environmental factors: During rainy and overcast days, temperatures drop. Whether in summer or winter, individuals with rhinitis may experience nasal mucosal bleeding or swelling, which could trigger a worsening of nasal allergy symptoms.

2. Allergies

The drop in temperature during rainy and overcast weather may promote the growth of allergens in the air, such as pollen or dust. If an individual has low immunity, this may lead to a worsening of rhinitis symptoms.

3. Infection

Exposure to bacteria or viruses during rainy weather may interfere with recovery and exacerbate rhinitis, potentially causing symptoms such as runny nose and sneezing.

When nasal allergies worsen during rainy weather, it is recommended to follow medical advice and use medications such as cefixime or amoxicillin for treatment. Additionally, maintaining body warmth is important in daily life.
