Introduction
Jaundice can be managed under a physician's guidance through general treatment, jaundice-lowering therapy, anti-infective treatment, and surgical intervention. For general treatment, medications such as sodium bicarbonate injection and potassium chloride injection may be recommended under medical supervision. For jaundice-lowering therapy, drugs such as ursodeoxycholic acid capsules and ademetionine enteric-coated tablets (adenosylmethionine disulfonate) can be taken under a doctor's guidance.

Jaundice can be managed under a doctor's guidance through general treatment, jaundice-lowering therapy, anti-infective treatment, and surgical intervention.

1. General Treatment

Under medical supervision, medications such as sodium bicarbonate injection and potassium chloride injection may be used to improve nutritional status and maintain fluid and electrolyte balance in the body.

2. Jaundice-Lowering Therapy

Under a doctor's guidance, jaundice-reducing medications such as ursodeoxycholic acid capsules and ademetionine enteric-coated tablets (adenosylmethionine disulfonate) can be administered to help reduce jaundice and prevent complications such as renal failure or encephalopathy caused by hyperbilirubinemia.

3. Anti-Infective Treatment

When infection is present, it is recommended to follow medical advice and take cephalosporin antibiotics such as cefradine capsules or cephalexin capsules to control inflammation and prevent disease progression that could lead to septic shock and life-threatening conditions.

4. Surgical Treatment

If symptoms are severe and complications such as septic shock or gallbladder perforation occur, surgical intervention—such as cholecystectomy to remove the perforated gallbladder—may be necessary under a doctor’s guidance to relieve symptoms.
