Introduction
In general, vertigo tends to recur frequently. It may be caused by conditions such as Ménière's syndrome, hypertension, or benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). Treatment is typically carried out under medical guidance through medications or surgical interventions. If the condition is not treated promptly and effectively, vertigo attacks may occur frequently.

Generally, vertigo tends to recur frequently.

Vertigo may commonly be caused by conditions such as Ménière's disease, hypertension, or benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). Treatment typically involves medication or surgical interventions as directed by a physician. Ménière's disease is primarily caused by mechanical blockage of the endolymphatic duct, impaired absorption of endolymph, or inner ear ischemia. Hypertension may result from poor dietary habits, prolonged mental stress, and other factors. BPPV occurs due to accelerated degeneration of otoliths or changes in hormone levels. If these conditions are not treated promptly and effectively, recurrent episodes of vertigo may occur.

Patients are advised to seek timely medical evaluation and diagnosis upon experiencing symptoms of vertigo, identify the underlying cause, and receive targeted treatment under a doctor’s guidance. Additionally, maintaining adequate rest, ensuring sufficient sleep, avoiding staying up late, and preventing excessive fatigue can promote recovery. Regular moderate exercise is also recommended to enhance physical resistance and immunity.
