Pregnancy-related fever refers to the symptom of elevated body temperature, which can be alleviated through lifestyle adjustments, physical therapy, and medication.

1. Lifestyle Adjustments

During pregnancy, a woman's immune function may decline, making her more susceptible to infections from bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens, potentially leading to fever and body aches. Dietary adjustments can help manage these symptoms. It is important to drink plenty of water and consume foods rich in vitamins and dietary fiber, such as broccoli, leafy greens, milk, and lean meat. Additionally, adequate rest and maintaining good indoor ventilation are essential.

2. Physical Therapy

If a pregnant woman has a low-grade fever with a temperature below 38.5°C, physical cooling methods can be used. Soak a towel in warm water and gently wipe the palms, soles, armpits, forehead, limbs, and chest. This helps remove surface body heat and promotes dissipation of internal heat, thereby relieving discomfort.

3. Medication

If the above measures fail to relieve symptoms, medications such as amoxicillin capsules may be taken orally under a doctor's guidance.

Due to the unique physiological state of pregnancy, women should avoid self-medicating when feeling unwell, as this could negatively affect fetal development. Instead, they should seek medical evaluation and treatment under professional supervision.
