What causes headache when body temperature is normal?
Normal body temperature accompanied by headache may be caused by physiological factors or pathological conditions.
I. Physiological Factors
If a person is consistently sleep-deprived, it can lead to headaches. Symptoms usually improve with adequate rest, reduced熬夜 (late-night activity), and sufficient sleep recovery.
II. Pathological Factors
1. Common Cold
Headache may occur due to cold exposure or during the early stages of a cold, even when body temperature remains normal. Other symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, and sneezing often accompany the headache.
2. Neurofunctional Disorder (Neurosis)
This condition primarily involves dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system and is often associated with prolonged emotional stress. It can cause various symptoms, including headache, excessive sweating, palpitations, and anxiety. While body temperature may sometimes rise, it often remains within the normal range.
3. Brain Aneurysm
If a patient has an intracranial aneurysm, rupture of the aneurysm can rapidly increase intracranial pressure and irritate the meninges, resulting in severe headache. Fever is not necessarily present in such cases.
In addition, conditions such as hypertension or head trauma may also present with similar symptoms. It is important to visit a hospital for proper diagnosis and receive appropriate symptomatic treatment based on the underlying cause.
