Introduction
If a patient has mild pneumonia, follows the prescribed medication regimen as directed by a physician, and has a relatively strong immune system, fever usually resolves within 5 to 7 days after initiating anti-infective treatment. However, if the condition is severe, caused by multiple pathogens, and complicated by additional complications, it may take half a month or even longer after starting standardized treatment for the fever to subside.

Pneumonia-related fever typically subsides within several days, but the duration varies depending on individual circumstances.

If the pneumonia is mild, the patient follows medical advice with proper medication, and has a strong immune system, fever usually resolves within 5 to 7 days after starting anti-infective treatment. However, if the pneumonia is severe, caused by multiple pathogens, and complications such as bacteremia, pleural effusion, or lung abscess occur, it may take half a month or even longer to become fever-free, even with appropriate treatment.

Patients with pneumonia are advised to seek timely symptomatic treatment and drink plenty of water to promote recovery.
