Ear pain inside while running
Ear pain during running may be caused by weather conditions or pathological factors such as pharyngitis or rhinitis.
I. Weather Factors
If the outside temperature is particularly cold, cold air can stimulate the nerves in the ear, slowing blood circulation and causing ear pain during running. It is recommended to keep the ears warm when running outdoors and avoid exposing them to cold air.
II. Pathological Factors
1. Pharyngitis
Infections from microorganisms or irritation from environmental factors can make the throat hypersensitive, stimulating nerve reflexes that affect the ear, leading to this symptom. Under a doctor's guidance, antiviral medications such as ribavirin capsules, amoxicillin capsules, or diphenhydramine hydrochloride tablets may be taken for treatment.
2. Rhinitis
Rhinitis symptoms may worsen when exposed to cold, affecting Eustachian tube function and resulting in ear pain during running. Treatment under medical supervision may include roxithromycin capsules, azithromycin capsules, or loratadine tablets.
In addition, otitis media can also cause ear pain during running. If discomfort occurs, prompt medical attention is advised to avoid delaying optimal treatment.
