Introduction
It is normal to experience a significant decrease in appetite after recovering from COVID-19. Following infection with the novel coronavirus, the body may become weakened, leading to symptoms such as reduced appetite, nausea, vomiting, general fatigue, and loss of taste. Traditional Chinese medicine can be used to regulate the spleen and stomach, for example, using tangerine peel (Chenpi), codonopsis (Dangshen), and hawthorn (Shanzha), to help improve appetite. Additionally, getting proper rest and avoiding excessive fatigue is recommended.

Recovery from a previous infection with the novel coronavirus is referred to as "Yang Kang." After recovering from a novel coronavirus infection, the body may still be affected due to viral invasion. Since bodily functions have not yet fully returned to normal, loss of appetite may occur, which is considered normal.

Individuals with weaker constitutions may experience reduced appetite following a novel coronavirus infection, as the body undergoes certain physiological impacts. This may also be accompanied by symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, general fatigue, and loss of taste. After undergoing medical evaluation at a hospital, traditional Chinese medicines such as dried tangerine peel (Chenpi), Codonopsis root (Dangshen), hawthorn (Shanzha), Poria (Fuling), and Chinese yam (Shanyao) may be used under a doctor's guidance to improve appetite and enhance spleen function while boosting vital energy.

After recovering from a novel coronavirus infection, it is important to get adequate rest and avoid overexertion.
